Face the truth
I was nervous, scared and my hands were trembling. I am sure many of us face this problem; the reason is to face the truth. Many a times we want to say the truth or confess mistake, but something always stops us. I guess its fear, ego to bend down and many more reasons. But finally I went up to face the consequences and reveled the truth. Guess what happens if u tell the truth? Should you confess mistake or hide it?

Caught in the waves of ocean

I was working on a project (event). This is to award companies for their best performance in conserving water. Constant phone calls, hectic schedule, continuous follow ups and so on. I felt that I was standing on a sea shore and each wave that was hitting me was trying to pull me into the sea, but my effort was to wade through the waves. At end I realized through continuous efforts, I learnt swimming and tried to cross them.
Situations/ circumstances are the best teacher, they teach even the dumb.

365 days has passed so soon. I still remember the moment when we were parting form old friends, childhood memories, beautiful city and with feelings moving like waves. Imagine the moment when train has just started…….. and you are standing on the door of the wagon waving “bye-bye” with your heart beating fast……
Everything has moved so fast, but memories are still fresh. I am sure all of us would some or the other day needs to leave things that we loved the most.

Lakshmi Naryana Global Music festival
What an enthralling concert. This concert was in memory of Late LakshmiNaryana the Father of renowned violinist Dr L Subramanium. His entire family showcased a beautiful musical festival. Especially we were impressed by the special language that was beautifully communicated and coordinated to each other (musicians) only through a smile and through movement of eyes. This coordination resulted in a language that everybody could understand, that’s music.

expressions of money

Excitement, gossips, rumors, queries, impatient, silence, happiness, jealous and many more reactions in the same place was felt and seen for the first time. I didn’t know money had so much influence on people. Every other work was left half done just to see how money influences designation. Phones are all engaged, cafeteria is full, and work places are empty with unsaved files on computers. The occasion being appraisal of the employees. “Money” you are great, you control all our emotions.

The theme of the day was photography. The theme varied from landscape, wildlife, flowers and most beautiful faces in the work place. At the end of the day we had most exquisite collection of pictures. The credit goes to Ms CC’s camera and her experimental results. I would take the privilege of posting some of the photos.

Obituary

One day suddenly we happen to see a beautiful art piece and I am sure anybody would get astonished to see this. This architect/ tailor were frequent visitor to our garden, but I would say that I was really lucky to see it tailoring or building the beautiful nest. It was a tailor bird. It had built the nest in a small bush in the garden.
From then my day would start by looking at the nest and was really happy to see them laying eggs. Every stage of development was exciting for us. It took around 10-12 days for these eggs to hatch. It was interesting to see the small ones facing the tough, world.
But today all these excitement came to an end when I saw the empty nest. The murder is mysterious. But I would name the murderer as predator and the master plan as food chain.
In nature this is a common phenomenon, but for me and the mother tailor bird it’s a sad day. We lost the three cute birds that would fly high in the sky.

Why is always silence misunderstood? It is as important as that of words or conversation. As some words may make feel happy, sad, angry, disagree, sympathy, caring, comfort, kill, torture, bring a laugh on face or even change the entire life or relationship. All these expressions can also be felt in silence.
As using right words at the right time is essential and conveys a lot of messages maintaining silence is also needed. Every word has a meaning the silence also has. The only art needed is to understand and use it appropriately. As said it is as important to cultivate your silence power as your word power.

The Monda Market

Vegetables are the prime ingredient for any cuisine. In search of these we happened to go to this famous market which was established more than 100 yrs ago and one of the biggest market in the city. This was established primarily to supply the needs of British military regiments.
Since it was a weekend the entire market was flooded with different vegetables like tomatoes, carrots potatoes and the list goes on.. Every little place in the market was occupied and market leaders were busy collecting and selling their valuable vegetables. Various business tactics were adopted to sell their goods. One among them (which I liked the most) was that, I could hear women singing the price of the vegetables to attract the customers. The tune and the music are really worth listening.
The market has small and narrow lanes and one can see all varieties and colorful fresh vegetables. The vendors are refreshed with a cup of coffee or tea. My eyes were stuck on the tea room; it was the smallest room that I had ever seen.
The most important thing I learnt was that these guys are not MBA students nor would have learnt any management skills but still does the business like an art. I and my sis enjoyed buying the vegetables in the biggest market of the city.

A day with my friends in Bangalore
It was a great feeling to go to Bangalore after nine months. The climate, people and the roads welcomed me there. Even though the beauty of the city is getting vanished, I still feel that there is something which always makes Bangalore a special place.
My friend Ms J (beauty with brains) with a smile was just waiting alone on those busy roads to pick me. Later I had a chance of staying in beautiful undisturbed NAL quartz where another most beautiful friend (who just missed Ms Bangalore title) stays. The entire night was spent by cherishing all old memories and gossips.
Morning was the D day for my friend since it was her wedding. She looked like she’s come down to earth to bless people with gold. This occasion was joined by my other good old friends (Mrs. A the most innocent lady on earth, Mrs. S stands for simple and quiet and Mrs. G my oldest and sweet friend). It made me remember the golden days of life (college days).
I had to leave Bangalore and all my friends the same day. But I had an opportunity of taking some gifts (sweet memories) back home.

No 47 K
From the time I have come to this new place, traveling to office has always been a tedious job. I travel by autos (two) and then take a bus to reach home. I feel that I work in a circus company (jumping from one vehicle to the other).
One day when I was waiting to start my gymnastics, I suddenly saw this No 47 K (Bus Number, which is the direct bus), I was happy to get this bus. But once I get into this bus I feel it is a completely different world. I get to hear all the news that one can get to hear from NDTV / BBC or any other news channel. All the topics in the world are covered. It’s definitely a different experience to travel in these buses.
Everyday I just sit and enjoy the 45mins travel and would thank all the people who helped me to reach my destination.

In search of blue bird

I was just browsing the net and found this website http://www.pbs.org/lifeofbirds/ (interested in documentation, wildlife, then must read this)
It’s really amazing to know how a wildlife documentary is been taken. Sir David Attenborough’s "Life of Birds" was always a fascinating documentary for me. I saw this a year ago and always wanted to know more about this bird (it’s called satin bower bird). This bird builds a bower (not a nest) which is a beautiful architecture that is decorated with all blue objects and flowers to attract the female. The dedication and perfection needs to be praised. I was happy to get this picture.

Evening at 6…..

I just sat in the balcony to relax and was gazing the road. It was six in the evening.
People were busy going back home with their empty lunch boxes and tired faces. Cars and other vehicles were rushing on high speeds to reach their destinations. On this busy road I realized that we have become so busy that we forget to enjoy life and have lost smiles on our face.
Suddenly my attention was caught by birds which were flying high in the sky. I started thinking that they don’t need money nor cars nor these busy roads, but still lead a happy life. I wish we could lead life like that!

a surprising news

I was surprised to hear a news from my childhood friend, what else can it be? The news was that she got married. It’s a strange thing that on an important occasion we tend to forget people who would also share the happiness with us. That’s when I remembered this quote “however rare true love may be, it is less so than true friendship”.
